neff d5645 hood – halogen lights keep blowing

had this for about 7 years and i’m getting fed up of changing the lights every 2-3 months (they blow a couple of weeks apart) this has gone on for about 3 years i think.

also, on one lamp the ceramic holder has started to ‘crumble’

any thoughts ??

How long do you have them on for? Some people us them to light the kitchen 24/7? They are fed from a 12v transfomer, so that could be faulty, but that is just a thought, not someting I have personally come across
