neff dishwaser only works on pre-rinse

we thw following neff dishwasher in our shop enr:195.301996 fd:6605 type:s5n8f. it only works through pre-rinse, but nothing else at all. once the pre-rinse finishes, its just dead. advancing the timer on does nothing. checked heater, toc, wiring etc. customer says its been in storage for a while. its is so clean throughout, it looks hardly used at all, so its hard to believe its going to be a timer fault. any suggestions would be good, thanks

Take a close look at the float microswitch as they can get sticky. Also make sure the black rubber sump hose is clear. 😉
