Neff dishwasher not doing hot rinse but heating OK on wash

Hi guys. This is a bit of a liberty so I apologise (not been here for years then slinks back asking a question). It’s just my own John Lewis (Neff) built in dishwasher of around 10 years has suddenly stopped doing the last hot rinse. It’s a JLBDW1200 and it offers no error codes. It seems to work the same as it always has taking same time but the last 40 mins or so it just sits there timing down to end of wash and dishes are left wet and cold.

It’s just a bit confusing with the heat on wash working perfectly well. Just wondering if it could be a relay on the pcb maybe? May need a new dishwasher? Many thanks.

how old is the system
early ones used a pressure switch in the heater to detect water flow. if there is less water in rinse it could cause it

Thanks guys. That’s an interesting possibility Dave. It’s about 11 or 12 years old. It makes more sense than any other fault because as we know the nature of pressure chamber blockages can be intermittent. I’ve given it a good thrashing with some limescale tablets and will keep an eye on it.
