Neff dishwasher not draining

Hi All,

I have an integrated Neff slimline dishwasher that has just stopped draining. When it reaches the drain cycle you can just here a clickling noise from the dishwasher.

The model number is S5943X0GB/08.

It sounds like something has got stuck in the pump or a non return valve stuck? Is this easy to get to? I fitted the dishwasher a couple of years ago so am quite able to remove it from the kitchen units if I need to access parts.

Would welcome your thoughts…

It is a strip down unfortunately on the slimline.
I would seek an engineer from link below.
If you are to investigate yourself then please unplug appliance beforehand.

Have you stripped one of these down before? Is is straightforward?

In a word no. If I was you I’d go down the engineer route.

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you all know that I dismantled the dishwasher at the weekend and found a small piece of china from a coffee mug had become stuck in the drain pump. Once I had cleared it, all was back to normal.
