My integrated dishwasher is not heating water but completes cycle using just cold. How easy is it to inspect PCB? and does machine need to be removed or can PCB be accessed without removing? If heater has failed I’ll probably buy new machine as I know element assembly is not cheap.

    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

Removing the RH side panel will reveal it. The heater a little tricky to check it with a meter but removng the front plinth will allow access there.

If you have been using the machine all the while without salt thinking the 3 in 1 tablets cure all then for sure the heater is duff! 🙁

Thanks Martin, I’ll try heater first. Getting dishwasher out is quite a faff!

Note that the heater/motor unit can be replace by just removing the front wooden door & the metal front panel behind the kitchen plinth.
Generally there are 2 red wires & an earth wire to the heater which when unplugged is very easy to test continuity. POWER OFF / UNPLUG MACHINE.

I should add that I suspected PCB because main power button on machine won’t turn off. If I isolate power and then switch back on I can then select various programmes and as stated before machine then runs ok but doesn’t heat.
