I have been to this dishwasher today that has a leak and it’s coming from the sump. I have had a look at the Neff site and can see that there is a repair set for the sump (part no 11002716) but I just wondered how you fit it. Can it be done with the front and side panels removed or is there more to it?
Pull down base. Metal lugs latch into plastic base.
Remove 4 Screws holding sump in place.
Etc, etc.
Not too bad a job. Allow an hour or so plus 30 minutes to run a quick wash to make sure it’s all running ok. I always replace the distributor whilst I’m at it.
Is this a common occurrence for the sump to leak? I spent ages trying to figure out why the dishwasher is leaking despite replacing the pump seal. It wasn’t apparent until 4 or 5 washes later.
