NEFf Dishwasher – S5443X0GB/13 heater

Got this phone call from the customer asking for new heater unit for this dishwasher. He asked if I could replace it.

Generally i would do it but I don’t do enough Bosch/Siemens/Neff d/w to replace the heater unit. In fact I only replaced one that was 3 years ago. The price of the flow thru heater units have come down a great deal (it wasn’t that long ago it was selling for £50 plus) and now it is becoming affordable (from £30 plus) to repair hence getting more calls for such requests.

I seem to recall lifting the tub off to remove the heater unit. Was this correct or is there another way to get access to remove the heater unit?
