Neff Dishwasher S54M45X5GB/01 Water Heater

Hi,

Tested the instantaneous heater on Neff S54M45X5GB/01 and open circuit across element ends. Needs to come out and replaced. Any tips on getting it out in the most efficient way? Have RHS panel removed so far.

BTW Dishwasher is onlt just over two years old and was an expensive bit of kit. Is this common on Neff nowadays??

Not really a DIY job I’m affraid. Major and complete strip down of the m/c is required to replace the heater.

Even engineers have been known to run from this job 😉

That’s not to say the overall cost is prohibitive and if you reside in my patch, then replacing the water heater for you can be done quickly,effectively and for a very reasonable cost. 😀

Have been away so thankfully no need of dishwasher! Back now and appreciate advice. Will request cost to replace heater from an independent as recommended.
