    main oven overheating,
    neon appears to go out but still heats,
    is theres a t/mistor.
    or is it something else

    I think you are right and if you are it is a fully electronically controlled beast 😮
    I would check for obv like earth leake etc on element/s rather then go too deep too soon.
    There are PTCs in both ovens FYI.
