ParticipantHi
Got a Neff integrated DW S51E50X0GB/16 FD 8911.
Customer tried to use it 3 months ago and it didn’t work so left it until now. I went yesterday and customer wasn’t too sure of faults other than not disolving detergent or washing very well. So tested it yesterday. Gutted a hand full of crud from both wash arms which now work. It fills, empties, heats, dispenser works and insulation test ok (at plug). It sounds like the water distributer is working. Accepts programmes ok, cancels/resets ok.
Customer came back to me, I remember, it was stopping mid programme. She tried to use it and now fault code is 3rd of 5 programme lights and stopped with water in the bottom. I’m presuming it’s aborted the programme and this is a fault code.
This is a combined heater/circulation pump.

Check Water LED is that? If so, base flooded probably. 🙁

If it’s a flooded base, sure the pump would kick in as part of the anti-flood mode?

You answered that question earlier. So we’re not talking flooded base…time to move on and start more head scratching on this one!:(

Its worth checking the installation. Any slight ‘twisting’ of the chassis can cause problems with door alignment and on these appliances , ifs imperative that the door alignment is spot on. The door doesn’t need to open to stop the machine and the increased internal pressure as it heats up is sometimes enough to stop operation.
When it happens again , ask the customer to just put pressure on the door without opening it and see if it fires back into life .

That’s a thought, I’ll ask her to run it again and see what results we get.
Thanks for that 🙂
