Hi guys I have a problem with a Neff S51M63X1GB/43 which only drains for about 2 seconds before it turns itself off at the end of the cycle, leaving lots of water in the bottom. It will drain perfectly throughout the rest of the cycle. I removed loads of hair from around the pump impeller on my first visit.
So what would cause it to just run the pump for such a brief time and turn itself off without emptying properly?
    Thanks, Darren

I would definitely swap the pump. Ive had many an intermittent pump on these newer ones. Even the tiniest amount of hairs ar debris will make these fault. Also take a look under the filter and make sure the flap that leads to the pump is still in place. This can cause the pump to fault at the end of the cycle.

I fitted a new drain pump on this but it still had this fault for several days (and washes) before it started behaving itself. All is fine now
