    I attended this dishwasher last Friday, the customer says it blew up.

    It was the mains suppressor that blew up, I replaced it with ease. It did work on the quick wash setting as I did not have time for the main wash.

    The customer says that it didn’t wash the dishes and made constant noise. Initially I thought it was water on base, however it was bone dry.

    left me with two options – impeller fault or corrupted module caused by the explosion of mains lead. What are your thoughts?

    Cutlery stuck under the mushroom float?
    Impeller jug?
    Or worst case the Control Unit? (It’s best to look for surface component damage first though of course)

    I’ve come across at least one of these with a faulty float microswitch.
