Hi all
after a neff k3962x0 defrost heater and have been quoted vy expensive from neff.Iknow its made by maytag for neff has anybody got a comparable mod num for the maytag version as i think it may be cheaper

Using the US Maytag site, you can identify part numbers etc for virtually any model irrespective of the brand name on the product 😀

Sadly in the UK we are not allowed such information 👿

It comes up with part number 70301-1 at 34.60USD. Whether this part number is recognised by Maytag in the UK though is another matter, there is of course the voltage issue also (discussed elsewhere last week).

It’s worth a phone call I reckon 😉

Is the defrost element the twin glass tube type? the Neff picture is not very clear, if it is let me know the length of the tubes and I can give you the Maytag equivalent part number.

Jon, Ive done a little bit more investigation and found as Dave said Maytag part number is 70301-1 it is still shown in current price list at £31.02 retail +p&p+vat.
