Fault Reported – Every now and then the machine tends to fill and drain at the same time.
Checked outlet pump, hoses, drain, Pressure Switch (Replaced), pressure pipe. Other than replacing the pressure switch i found no other faults.
Whilst i was there one day, i selected a cycle and switched on the machine it promptly started to fill and drain at the same time. This was after the machine had been standing for at least 24 hours.
The customer reports it will quite happily continue to do this all day, until switched off. When switched back on it will work ok for days at a time, then the fault reappears.
Have spoken to Neff/Bosch tech help, the`ve advised pressure switch or flow meter/regulator. I cant find the flow meter, and i`ve replaced the pressure switch.
Any ideas ??

As far as I know this model does NOT have any flow meter/sensor to worry about. Nor does it have any flood protection system in place to account for this phenomenon ❓
My only thoughts lean toward an earth fault (Motor or Water Heater?) that may give this spurious signal to the main module for it to go ape in this way…dunno mate, sorry ❗

to finish the thread –
this job i could not complete, had to palm it off to the manufacturer.
i always ask that the customer let us know what was found, they told us that the engineer fitted a new module. this cleared the fault.
thanks to all for their help.
