NEFF fan assisted oven DB1451

Customer with a NEFF B1451 fan assisted oven which keeps burning out the element after 1 year 1 month and I year 7months for the second element.
Fan seems to be running smoothly when cold and hot. Customer has not complained of thermostat jamming on and had been told not to block fan outlet with foil.

Will now have to put in the third element on this oven?
Anybody got an idea on what the problem might be with this NEFF oven?
To date I have not had any complaints from other customers with elements fitted from UK whitegoods

I guess so. Lots of posts about endemic failure of fan oven elements especially so with Neff ovens. Genuine or pattern makes no odds either as both are unreliable, many prone to earth leakage problems straight out of the packaging. Often necessitating running with earth disconnected to burn off dampness especially during the cold damp winter months.

Enjoy the frustration and, little tip, always give short guarantees for heater and elements you fit, I give just 3 months on the darn things. 😉

He is a car salesman, so will have to give him the old storey of the element came with a bible in the package so it must be an act of god?
