ModeratorNot been out to this yet.
Customer has just moved in and this integrated washer was left by the previous owner.
She says that the rating plate is partially obscured but the best she can come up with is Enr W4380Y1GB…..
Says that after she presses start button the Wash & Rinse lights flash then the display shows 6.
Any suggestions?
Jim.

Error code 6 on a Neff usually means that it’s a pump or drain blockage. Also do check the air pressure pipe as they get gunged up and can give same error code. 😉

Thanks for that Martin, the customer said they had rung BSH service and been told it was likely to be the door interlock.
They told her the labour costs involved and then advised her to try and get a local indie who would be much cheaper. 😯

Jim, looking on the appliance care website the closest to that model number is W4380x1gb/01. It looks the same as the Bosch wfk machine in which case 06 is door open.

ParticipantWizard is correct on both model and fault code 06 is a door lock problem…..however , i’d also check to make sure the heater isn’t going down to earth as they can cause funny faults including door lock probs

Thanks guys, I had guesssed the Y was possibly an X. 🙂
She did say that BSH had told her it was in the door lock area. Will check out the heater as well.

Twas the door interlock area.
The wiring plug was completely adrift, strange how this happened when the cable is still firmly secured behind the plastic guard, clipped to the front panel. :con:
