Neff H7871SOGB/03

Have a Neff H7871SOGB/03 Fd 8203. Shows disdlay bright for a few seconds then dims out. In lower display it show F 4 . Any help please.

Would the error display actually show Er4 by any chance? 😉

If so then that means the temperature sensor has failed. 🙁

Does the microwave work though?

Hi Martin, It could be Er4. Display goes blank in seconds. No microwave no nothing. I thought it was temp sensor, ordered one fitted it but still the same. Old and new sensor approx same resistance. When you connect to mains it shows 000 in top display for split second then nothing, if you select temp in oven you can see F or E r4 in shadow on lower display. Customer says it went when she selected lowest power output on microwave. Any help apperciated. clayside

Oh blimey, it’s sounding like a main power board or display board problem then I guess? 😥

Thats what I’m afraid of, still bit buttet and quote customer you never know they might say yes 😀
