Neff HBN9362GB/01 FD8306

Hi Folks.

Anyone an expert on the main door to this oven.?

I fitted a new set of hinges to this oven about 4 months ago, straightforward job all ok.

Got called back again this week , same problem, door not closing by about 5mm or so at the top. Fitted new set of hinges under warranty expecting a result, but its still exactly the same.

What i cannot understand is what the difference is between the l/h and r/h hinges. They both look exactly the same, and there would not appear to be any reason for them to be different, but they have different part numbers (266698 and 267845) and one is stamped with an “S” and the other an” X”.

I have checked against the Neffwebsite diagram that I have fitted both hinges in their correct locations. The hinge pockets look as new, but it seems as if the rollers on the hinges are not pushing the door that few more millimeters.

Bit stuck on this one, any contributions warmly received.

I would try the hinge receivers p/no 172647, same for both ovens; that will sort Im sure 😉 .

Thanks Greg,

I have already made up my mind to do that, cant be much else really.

I would, just as a matter of interest, still like to know why these hinges are the same, but different, if anyone out there knows.
