Neff hob showing skittles and a key

The model number td1280x that the customer gave me appears to be wrong though he’s sure it isn’t, so i went with td1380n as they look the same and i’m not after a part, just trying to fault find atm.
So, the unit is dead except for the display which is apparently showing (his description) four skittles in a row with a key above them.
Anyone have an idea of this and/or error codes?

Sounds like a child lock is on.

Martin, the customer is still convinced that’s the model number, he can’t understand why he couldn’t find any info on the web. (keep calm and count to ten)
Andy, you were spot on. the funny part is that it was his grandson that put the lock on and he couldn’t turn it on 😀

They shouldn’t be called child locks as they are the only one capable of curing it 🙂
