ParticipantHi,
Does anyone know what I might have paid for this Neff Hob T1842NO. I can’t find my original receipt – I know its about 7 yrs old though. The module has an intermittent fault on the extended zones and the insurance people can’t decide whether to write it off or have it repaired as they don’t know what I paid for it in the beginning.
Thanks.

Hi Linda
The price for the module alone according to the Neff spares shop is £232 odd, so I would not have thought they would repair it but you never can tell 😉
Neff online catalogue here may help you select the nearest current model and a google search should give you an idea of the replacement cost. From the current figure I would probably add on say 20{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} for price erosion over the last seven years.

Hi,
Thanks for the link. However I’m hoping they will repair it as the current model (T1643) is bigger than my existing one and it would mean cutting the granite!!!
If anyone who sells them could check for me that would be great. It was the top end of the hob range at the time so would have cost me a pretty penny!!

I sell Neff hobs, however we only keep current price lists I`m afraid as we get them updated every few months. A seven year Neff paper mountain would be rather too large to keep.
The only suggestion I can come up with would be to track back to the original supplier of the hob. They will posiibly be able to track back through thier invoice or a copy of your reciept (given time). If you paid for it by credit card or cheque then your bank / card issuer may be able to assist.
