    HI HAVE THIS PROBLEM ON THIOS HOB. THEREIS 240V TO BOTH THE INDUCTION BOARDS BUT HOB WILL NOT TURN ON. I ASSUME IT IS THE CONTROL MODULE. ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE AND CAN CONFIRM THE MODULE AS IT IS EXPENSIVE.

    Is there a magnetic pan on the glass when you are turning the hob on?
    Most induction units switch on without magnetic pans being placed on the glass, and turn off shortly after finding no pan.
    It could also be the glass has developed a smoke / dirt film on the underside (possibly from the airflow from a built in oven underneath ❓ ) and the sensors of the touch control cannot read throught the glass.
    Worth checking before ordering a module.

    HI I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT THE CUSTOMER SAID THAT THE HOB WAS OFF AND IT TRIPPED THE ELECTRICS???? HAVE TAKEN THE HOB GLASS OFF AND TRIED IT WITH IT OFF BUT NO JOY.

    😯 😯 You haven’t put a pan directly on the hotplate have you 😯 😯

    BTW is it not still under it’s 2 year guarantee?.

    No display is usually the control module, but I have had one of the induction modules cause the same fault. 😥 Sorry.
