Neff Induction hob T4842NO/01 no heat

Went to this today. RHS two plates failed and then a few months later the LHS two plates failed. When turning the heat setting up on any plate a relay click can be heard but the number stays flashing. Am i right in thinking the two power supplies at a cost of £447 have failed or will the plates have killed the PSU’s ?

Yup, sounds like power modules have gone.

Does the appliance have a 5mm air gap below the work top and above the top of the drawer (full width of hob) as per installation instructions.

If not this could be cause of the problem.

there was a 2 CM gap between oven and hob. Ran away from job and recommended BSH to the man. Thanks Boro
