ParticipantI have a Neff integrated dishwasher S5443X1GB/29, its about 3 years old. It seems to be washing the bottom dishes ok, the odd plate comes out dirty still. All of the glasses and cups etc on the top shlf are coming out almost untouched??
I’ve taken the arms off myself and cleaned then, put water through from the tap and its coming through all of the holes ok. Salt levels etc are all fine.
If anyone can give me some advise on how to fix this myself it would be greatly appreciated. I cannot afford a plunber!!
Thanks
Sarah

Hi
This particular model has no diverter for upper and lower baskets so thats that eliminated.
It could be a water starvation ie insufficient water to wash with in appliance or weak recirculation motor.
If you fancy a go yourself then un-plug appliance first :plug: and then proceed to remove front lower panel to gain access to inside, Locate the clear ribbed pipe that is a push fit from metering unit to sump, pull it off both sides and clean with hot water under tap, then replace. See how it goes then 😉
If you should find that does not cure or feel you need help, then please use the engineer link below.
ThanksGreg

I disconnected from the mains then tried to work out which bit to unsrew. I removed the lower arm and lifted off the large filter. This area is full of water. I could not manage to remove any of the screws here, some are under water, tried all my various screwdrivers.
Do you think this is where the problem is in this area, and if I can manage to get a screw driver that fits do you think I can sort it out myself?
Thanks for your help

Access to sump hose is not gained from inside the tank.
The furniture door, door skin and lower panel need to be removed. There is a possiblity that the pressure system will also need attention.
If this is the case then the whole m/c will need to be removed from it’s housing and side panel will also have to be removed.
You will need a torx T20 screwdriver bit, and possibly an engineer to use it 😉 .
If you are going to dive in power off please :zap:
