    Hi there,

I wonder if any of you experts could give me some advice?
I have a Neff integrated fridge and freezer (K9625XOGB/31 FD8112). It’s between 4 and 5 years old and has never given me a problem, until recently.

I thought that first of all the freezer was starting to get a bit frozen up (should be frost free) and now the door seal doesn’t seem to have any bounce in it seems quite flat, if you know what I mean??!!

Anyway, and co-incidentally I think?? the fridge above has now decided to frost up on the back wall and yes the door seal is very flat!! I’ve looked at both and they look as though they both come off very easily, no screws etc. Do I try and get replacements, and if so where from cos I think I need them replacing qickly before the ice takes over my whole house!! 😯 Also do I need to defrost, and how do I do this without losing my food. 😥

I’m a single mum with not a lot of cash and I need to find the cheapest way to repair (please don’t say it’s going to costs me lots??!!) I can’t risk losing the food either really!! I am very used to doing DIY so I will want to do the repairs myself to save cash, if this is something an unqualified person can do?? 😉

    Any advise greatly appreciated 😛

    http://www.bshappliancecare.com lists the door seals available separatley. P/no 235608 @ £21.62 + 215217 @ £16.10 plus VAT, P+P.

Even frost free appliances benefit from a good defrost from time to time…….

Nope, conventional freezer, will require manual defrost periodically.
As for seals, follow the Penguin 😆
