NEFF K3990

Hello

I am replacing all my kitchen appliances when our new extension is built. Preferably I want to stick with 1 brand throughout if the quality of each product is up to standard, and at the right price..

My choice thus far is Neff, but 2 things are bugging me. 1 they do not do a wine cooler – though when asked they said one out possibly late 2007… still waiting..

The other thing is the K3990 American Fridge does not have anti bacterial protection, which seems to be standard on all other brands (AEG, Maytag).

So is this an issue ? is this product any good ? Any advice welcome. thanks

The K3670X0GB wine cooler is now in stock at Neff and is available for delivery to retailers.

Anti bacterial protection layers have been around for a couple of years now, problem is how do you know if it works? I advise my customers that the antibacterial protection is not a substitute for good food hygiene practices.

As far as the Neff products are concerned I don`t think you will find a better manufacturer who can offer such a wide range of built in appliances with a two year warranty across the board.

DON – thank you for your very quick reply.

Neff have not added this product to their uk web site, but found it elsewhere on the web, so great news here.

Re the Fridge, yes I agree how do you know how good this anti bacterial protection is. Strange thing is Neff use it on their normal Fridge range, so interesting to know why not on the American style one. I have emailed them to ask.

Anyway I agree also that if cleaned regulary and you do not leave out of date food in there then this should not be an issue… Just nice to know when paying almost £2k for something you are getting the latest technology that actually works.
