Main board holds the low voltage transformer so it’ll be another motor and PCB.

been to look at this again today , power going to the defrost heater (all food cooked ) woeful smell off the fish that was in the bottom drawer , and the 12v dc fan getting 230v , new board and fan motor !!!

Is this an American side by side ? If it’s the freezer fan , there’s a chance you’ve plugged it in to the wrong connector on the rear wall !!! I’ve done it myself but it’s dependant on the model. There are 2 connectors in the freezer that the new fan can fit into……worth a look ?

i wish mate ,there are 3 places fo the connectors to go ,and 2 connectors but one of the places is a blank , the other 2 are the fan and the defrost heater , i only unplugged the fan cause the heater connector can stay put when you are taking the panels off the back wall , and they both have power coming out of em also
