neff K3990X6gb04 “american style” leak from fountain hose

Neff fridge freezer (Daewoo type) model K3990X6gb04. Leak from pipe to fountain at bottom of freezer door. Can anyone confirm this will need a new door to fix this as no parts of the hose are shown on BSH. + if so does the outer stainless cladding come off to fit this?

Yep the insulation would have failed and it’ll be a complete door. Walk away as if the cladding does need to come off then the likelihood that it wont come off cleanly is high and you’ll get blame for it. Not worth the hassle plus the door will be in excess of £500.

This unit retails at nearly £2000. Its just a repair and worth doing, just make sure your labour cost reflects the work involved. Nice earner!

£390 for door and £268 will buy you the stainless door wrap if you need it, 3 hours labour £150, well worth doing.
