Neff Integrated fridge has broken down. Can anyone please advise on how I troubleshoot what potentially could be the problem with the fridge prior to making a decision whether to buy a new one. I have a Neff model number K4513X0GB Controls for the fridge are in TRH and consists of a rotary dial and bulb holder. The rotary dial looks like it has a thermostat underneath. Its held in with a single screw and can be removed easy enough. Naturally I’d like to effectively see if it is something simple and could be replaced and avoid paying over £500 for a replacement fridge. I have checked the plug/fuse etc. I would appreciate any help or advice that can be given. Thanks in advance JD

You need,after unplugging to establish if you have a circuit through the thermostat.
You will need an avo type meter to do this.
Remove cover with the one screw and check that there are circuits through the numbered terminals on the thermostat.
Take one wire off at a time and check from that terminal to the other two,if they don’t both beep with the avo set on buzzer/continuity you have a thermostat fault.
easy to replace and not costly.

Thanks Spimps I appreciate the quick response Yes I have an ordinary multimeter would this do the trick? Or I have a fluke meter. Also It appears that the thermostat is under the rotary dial which incorporates the on/off switch I assume this is easy enough to dis-asemble? Strange but the bulb blew in the fridge the other day. Mmm I wonder if there could have been a knock on effect of the thermo going as well. Probably just coincidence. There are 3 wires I’ll check tomorrow morning. Thanks again. Any further advice appreciated….
