Hi i have this built in frodge freezer,

When i turn it on at the switch inside the fridge on the electronic the compressor will start for a second or 2 then turn straight off. If i set the temperature the led constantly flashes then once the compressor starts the led goes blank and the electronic ‘resets’ back to setting 2 and constantly flashing. My guess is that the compressor is faulty but could this possibly be an electronic problem too?????

this does sound like the compressor has failed but to be sure get your meter out and see if its getting 240v to it, if it isnt go for the pcb.
