Hi Folks, I have got a customer with a Neff K9524X7GB/04 Fridge Freezer. when we first attended the appliance it was dead, so we ordered up and fitted a 00499705 control module, the appliance did not burst straight into life straight away but after about 30 mins it started up and the engineer duly left. The customer rang up next day and said it had stopped again. after another visit we ordered and fitted a 00168766 NTC sensor. once again after a while it started up again. Guess what the customer is on the phone again the next morning as it has stopped again. Now this model does not have anything else to change. There is a multi plug the first two wires are the light switch the second is the fridge NTC and the last pair I have no idea I am guessing a evaporator NTC ??. The fridge ntc measures 6.4 Ohms the the other pair of wires measure 20 Ohms. has anyone got any ideas, and or have the service manuals. Thanks for looking Neil

Haven’t checked but is one where you have a mod kit that basically shorts out the evap ntc?? The symptoms sound right for this

Yes I have come across that on a earlier bosch/Neff fridge freezer were you had to modify the wiring to the two ntcs, at the moment I have cut the wire and asked the customer to monitor the appliance, my next option was to join the two wires together, but would prefer a wiring diagram before shorting out modules. 🙂

Haven’t done one for a while but basically the kit is a plug to bridge the ntc and a leaflet with a wiring diag. As far as i can remember if it’s a 3 wire plug you link pins 1&2 if it’s a 4 wire plug link pins 1&3. Al
