Neff leaving powdery residue after every wash

Hi experts.

We’ve inherited a Neff dishwasher in our newish flat. It has worked fine for a few months but just recently it has left a chalky residue on everything after washing.

I’m sure we’ll get told of for this, but we hadn’t been using any salt or rinse aid – but have now since filled up the salt and used rinse aid to see if that was the problem, It hasn’t made any difference.

I don’t even know what model it is – there’s no manual and it doesn’t seem to say on it.

It’s probably something completely simple, right?!

For specific advice, model number is essential. Check top edge of inner door panel for engraved plate, older models have a label on the casing surround below the lid.
