Neff microwave H53W50N3GB latches

Two year old grandson has managed to snap off one of the two latches on the door so the microwave will not function. It’s almost new. I can get the spare part for £11 or so but I have no idea how difficult it would be to fit it. It’s a built in model, fitted by John Lewis, so first task is to work out how the frame comes off to gain access.

Does anyone know whether the door needs to be removed and how it comes apart to fit the new plastic latches?

most microwave doors can be tricky to get apart. you have to use severall small screwdrivers to unlatch lots of plastic hooks 1 at a time, while trying hard not to let the ones you have unlatched, re latch again, along with trying not to break the plastic

go here, put in your e number and it will give you a diagram of the door parts. item 0208 is the piece thats got to come out and you can see all the latches
