Hi have this microwave which the high voltage diodes were faulty. i have changed them and this microwave still doesn’t start. all other functions work apart from the microwave. i suspect pcb, but its expensive just to suspect. any help will be great.
First check if you are getting 240 volts at the transformer primary. If you are then you still have a fault in the microwave circuit. Even if the other functions work it could still be a faulty door microswitch. These switches usually come apart so I tend to take the cover off each switch and check for burnt or welded contacts. Obviously you check that all the switches are being depressed correctly before and after removing them.
In instances of HT problems, I usually change the diode, limiter and HT capacitor.
Also there is a 1.25 A LT fuse on pcb that can go west so if you are not getting any voltage to HT TX as Phidom said, that may be the reason.
