Neff oven auto timer not working

This is my own oven, not used the auto timer function for a while, come to set it and it’s not working. I can hear a faint buzzing/humming sound when the function should kick in but the oven stays on when it should switch off when on delayed settings and doesn’t switch off on a simple timed setting. Not opened it up yet but suspect some kind of relay or solenoid is sticking. Any one come across this?

I haven’t had to deal with this particular clock unit but have seen the same issue on some hopoint clocks and it is usually the X2 clas capacitor that causes it.
