got a call customer had replaced element which was badly blown but had no heat. found the toc blown (057895) replaced then heated. customer now reports not cutting out on temperature getting far too hot. as this is an electronic control I’m thinking its blown the relay in the unit which is not available. the ntc is listed but my instinct tells me this is unlikely
anyone had any dealings with these as I’ve only seen the odd one or two.

You can never be sure until you replace the PTC sensor. At just £23 its worth a try all the while informing your customer of the worst case scenario if that is not the cure.
