The fan oven has been working intermittently on the oven for the last few months(elements are ok) and I had thought it was the just the fan that needed cleaning.It would work sometimes if the oven door was shut with some force and then just stop.
Have now replaced the fan and motor which has not resolved the problem.
If the door is shut really firmly it will get the fan going but it then just stops.
Am assuming there is a loose connection somewhere but unsure where to start looking.
The oven lights will only work when the fan oven is functioning properly so any ideas anybody?
The other oven functions work well but I mainly use the fan oven so am quite keen to try and resolve the problem if at all possible.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have just been reading older posts about bulbs blowing and related problems.
Have replaced both bulbs previously and all was ok,recently replaced both and one blew fairly quickly and so now only one working.Any connection?Re: Neff Oven B1691N1GB/09
Probably a faulty control unit or at best a bad connection between the timer and controller…..ouch!
