Neff Oven Buying Guide

We have a couple of Samsung single ovens (model nv75j3140bs) which have been pretty useless and both stopped working reliably within 3/4 years of purchase, and we’re now looking to replace them.

My wife’s adamant she wants a Neff Slide & Hide, so at least this narrows down the search. Problem is that the range of models on offer seems to be large and bewildering. It’s not just an N50, or an N70 or N90, there’s variations with different features, but the model numbers are painfully similar. e.g. N70 B57CR22N0B & N70 B57VR22N0B, etc…

I wondered if there’s a useful guide anywhere to these differences? i.e How does a B5 differ from a B6, etc…? Got some info from the Neff website, but it doesn’t seem to make it that clear and reviews in general seem a bit hard to come by. I know I want pyrolytic cleaning and a slide & hide door for instance, but I’m not sure if automatic programming is a useful feature or not, or if the Home Connect is just a gimmick, etc…

Is there a magical website somewhere that can help with this, or am I dreaming?

Yes it’s called the Neff site 😀

Okay you need to use the filters to start with I used slide and hide and pyro cleaning from your list and got to these these if you want steam function then that gets you to a choice of five. From there you can directly compare up to four ovens on the same page, pick your way through them until you get it down to two then look at the price and see where you need to compromise bewteen “wants and needs.”

The connected ones I would not contemplate unless you are going into home automation in a big way. Series differences come down to bells and whistles. I do agree sometimes there are just too many choices .
