neff oven door won’t close fully

Hi,

I have a Neff double oven U1421N0GB/01 8001. The bottom oven door will not close fully like the top oven. It just falls back to a positon slightly ajar.

My neighbour has a simialr problem and says it did this from new.

Can the door hinges or sockets be adjusted. I had a look at the exploded diags on the nef spare parts website and I noted that the hinge receiving sockets have a lower screw. Before I take the oven apart to get to it does anyone know if this might help.

No adjustment I’m afraid 🙁

Ideally replacing the hinges and hinge recievers would be the best way to ensure a good closing action but it may just be one or the other that are badly worn.

Ok I’ll try new hinges first as replacing the receivers looks a bit tricky.
