Neff Oven fan not working

Can anybody help please?

The fan on the rear of the main oven started to work intermittently and has now completely stopped. Everything else, including the main heating elements (oven & grill) work fine.

Does anybody have any ideas?

I’ve taken off the fan motor and there appears to be nothing obvious at fault. The fan turns freely by hand.
I have also run a meter across the two terminals, turned the oven dial to the “ON” position but nothing shows. Could this be because it is a DC motor or should i still expect some reading?

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Is it expected that i have seemingly no voltage from the two terminals connecting to the fan motor?

If so i’ll simply order a new fan motor as per your suggestion

Under no circumstances should you be live testing :nono:
Unplug appliance before attempting any measurements and/or repairs.
The motor is fed by an AC feed FYI.
Make sure the clock is set and also on the “Manual” hand symbol setting.
Usually you will hear a low hum in the cavity when turned to fan oven setting, indicating the motor is semi seizing or windings have gone weak.

Thank you once again. I had forgotten to re set the clock and now can confirm that the voltage is present.
