Neff Oven not heating

Hi i have a Neff B1820N0GB/03 oven which will not heat on either the oven or grill settings. The landlord has replaced the oven element himself. I have checked both elements and the wiring, also the time is set on the clock. So would it be the switch as the clock is working? I haven’t much experience on ovens so any help would be great.

well it did not feel like an element failure as its unlikely 2 elements would fail at once

switch is possible

have a look at the contacts in the switch and see if any are burnt

try pulling the feed from the clock on some of these the relays are held in an open position and no supply will close the contacts. you dont have a clock but do have supply to oven etc.

Thanks a lot for the replies guys, I went back armed with your advice and more time to spare checking it than last time.
There is no circuit through the temperature limiter so I will get one ordered. Could the thermostat have caused it to overheat?

possibly when you test it set to 100 degrees and go armed with an oven thermometer
