I have a Neff double oven U1452N2GB/07 FD8206.When main oven is turned on it heats up ok initially. On reaching set temp it cools down to about 100 deg and temp does not come back up again. This happens on fan heating & on top/bottom elements. The temp indicator light is on as if thermostat registering heat required but temp does not rise to set level. If turned off for a while it starts up ok but same pattern of events repeats once full temp reached first time. I replaced the fan element about nine months ago as it ceased to function.
Any ideas – faulty thermostat or something else?

not an expert on this but if it was me working on my neff my first port of call would be to check out the thermal cut outs, your thermostat light should go out when it reaches the set temperature. does it go out ? and if it does, does it then start to get cool and come back on or stay off ?

Just gas capillary thermostats on this one; probably gone out of calibration. Right or left hand control on the panel? The BSH site doesn’t specify.

Thanks for that. Main oven controls are pair of knobs on left hand side of panel. Left hand one of these is the oven mode setting ie turbo fan, top element. bottom element, both or grill function and right hand of the pair is temperature setting.

Sorry gandh1 missed what you asked there. The light comes on whilst heating then goes off once temp reached. It subsequently comes back on when temp drops a bit but elements do not come back on.
