basic neff double oven but with electronic control, dipslay showing 444 until knob is turned, then no functions at all in main oven despite being able to set temperature, when turned off, 444 again appears.
anyone come across this?

has something like this b4 , and it was the control knob it hits a micro switch when you push knob in ..
the one i was at had a push in push again to release type control knob has some sort of sensor on it ??
just an idea cos i cant remember if i was getting same error code

“444” means its in the shop display mode. This can happen if the customer has had a power cut or other fluctuations in supply. To return to normal operation turn the selector from the off position one click clockwise to position 1(circotherm/fan). Within 6 seconds you have to turn the knob from position 1 to position 2 five times (forward to pos 2 & back to pos 1 five times). The display will then show “333” to show normal operation. If its the small top oven, use the same proceedure.
