    Hi all,

has anyone come across one of these ovens where the cooling fans won’t switch off?.
I have been out to one that I supplied just over 2 years ago and the fans run all the time.
I have replaced part number 10006705 (cooling fan switch) as the resistor looked very dark and discoloured, although the resistance measured ok. All the other thermal limiters measured ok. The oven has to be switched off at the wall, otherwise the fans are just continually running.
I am thinking it is possibly the operating module at fault?.

One thing I will say is that the oven was switched off whilst I was putting it back together and back in the housing. Turned the power back on, set the clock and the fans were not on.
I was packing my tools away and loading the van up and said goodbye to the customer (space of around 5-10 mins) and then all of a sudden the fans sprung in to life!!

Just to give an update to this one.
I managed to speak to someone in BSH Technical and he immediately knew what the cause of the fault was and he advised me to replace the NTC repair set part number 12027485. He told me to make sure I fit all the parts supplied, which was a modified mounting bracket and new NTC and that has solved the problem.
