Hi All,
We cleaned the oven a couple days ago and haven’t used it since – went to turn it on just now and it will not heat up…
The following seems to be ok:
Power to the oven looks good – the clock is on and switching the oven on makes “a” fan spin.
The thermostat seems ok too – I turn it past 20ish degrees and I get a click ( I believe that is the test…??)What doesn’t work:
The oven itself will not heat up – I’m not sure if there is a fan where the element is inside the oven.. I cannot see one moving.
The grill does not heat up either.Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Most probably just the fan element that’s popped.
The back panel in the oven should come off, usually a couple of screws or so to release, then from what I can see it should be this element if I’m right:

Once you get to that it’s easy enough checked with a multi meter.

No fan heat, no grill heat having just cleaned the oven could simply mean you’ve accidentally switched the oven to ‘AUTO’? Try switching the oven timer to ‘MANUAL’?

Sorry, I didnt get a notification for this comment – I bought a replacement element – no difference…
Right, so we may have switched it to “AUTO” – how do I switch it to “MANUAL”?
I’ll try and find a manual online and see if that sheds any light.
Thanks!
