New today – searched FAQs + sticky, but couldn’t find an answer….
My above machine appears to wash dishes ok, and completes the cycle, apart from occasional small debris left on/in some items. However… the whole load is still damp/wet upon completion, and the title error code (E09) is displayed.

Google searching led me here, but also, googling appears to give contradicting answers: heating element, heat pump etc.

Any definitive answers would be welcome before I commit to (potentially) buying the wrong replacement item for the faulty part! Thanks

I`m rather shocked no one has replied to this!!! Your problem 9 times out of 10 will be the heat pump = a wash motor and heater combined = heat pump. E09 failure is very common because, basically, the heaters are rubbish as indeed is the rest of the machine and this goes for the Bosch and Siemens versions too. So much for paying the extra for a dishwasher. Everyone would be better off 1) not having a dishwasher or/and 2) buying a basic Beko. Sorry to be blunt and sorry no one got back to you sooner, why? I do not know. Usually the heater fails at 4 years old. Dreadful things, should all be recalled or discounted repairs. Bosch et all trying to cut costs on production, sheer greed!!

PS part number for a heat pump for that model is 00651956 listed at about £124 but you might get it cheaper elsewhere. Rip off for what it is and it might not last that long. I`ve stopped all Bosch/Siemens/ Neff dishwasher repairs as I have had too many jobs recalled with this heat pump as any others across all their range of 100`s of models. Losing 30{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of my business is worth it to me for less hassle pure and simple.
