ParticipantE24 says drain filter block.
However the machine is empty & the filter clean?
On start up the machine goes into drain mode then stops.no water comes in.Timer countdown continues.
The volume counter has continuity as does the fill hose valve.
Measured 150V on the inlet valve wire.Shouldn`t this read 240V?
I`m suspecting a control board fault?March 6, 2017 at 10:25 am #445828Martin

Lots of guff on this if you type E24 in the search box. Opening door after initial drain. Gunged blocked circulating pump etc………

Yes yours comes at the top of the list but others (Bosch etc) are the ones worth reading to show you are not alone with the mysterious E24 error. :snig:

Best thing to do on these is to keep an old circ pump with a blown heater and use this as a slave. Connect up the slave pump motor plug and the NTC (obviously don’t plug in the heater) and try the machine to see if the error has cleared, if so its a faulty wash pump.

Thanks. After reading other reports on the subject it would appear the heat pump is the main culprit. It also seems common for the plastic base to leak where it joins the metal case of the dishwasher causing earth leaks.Am now recommending customers buy the all stainless case dw to avoid premature write offs.

Been to 2 neff d/w the last 3 weeks…both have heatpump failure… stripped one down to find a blown element… quite shocked by the findings… its like a wide bracelet with a heatband glued to it
