    My Neff S4453 suddenly stopped working. No power to the front panel at all. I pulled the machine out and checked the power into the back of the machine which I found was OK. Took the front panel off and had a look at the printed circuit board behind the buttons. One of the terminals was burnt out, a common fault I think. I re-soldered the terminal on. Switched the dishwasher on, nothing! Checked all the wires at the front of the machine for voltage. All of them dead. Machine has power going into the back and nothing coming out of the front. I can’t work out how to get to the guts of the machine and am loathe to start in case the problem is something that I haven’t thought of. Any suggestions anybody?

    do you have the full model number, ie s4453b0gb/07

    a common fault for no power is the capacitor at the end of the mains lead, the power then goes to the on/off switch

    UNPLUG THE MACHINE then check the capacitor then check for continuity from capacitor to the on/off switch

    these are not fun to take apart so consider calling an engineer if its not a simple fix

    Check switched spur hasnt been nudged in the off position for eg – cutting up board leaned up against switch and turned it off
