    any neff experts on here?
This one starts,a program can be selected but makes a few beeps/noises and goes to end of cycle…

Pump won’t run,but I filled the appliance manually and it drains,I’m guessing the aqua stop but it has power there, continuity reading passes, just makes a kind of grumbling noise then beeps,

    Any ideas guys?
    Many thanks in advance

have you tried swopping the drain pump

on the later models the current of the drain pump is used to detect if the unit is empty. when the pumps wear they draw more current fooling the electronics that water is still in the machine and aborts the prog

Thanks for the reply Dave,it’s the type shown above,
My first suspect was the drain pump,it’s not a pump I’ve come across before,I took it off and stripped it all down, found a very small piece of what looked like shredded plastic around the impeller,it spins very freely if you turn it by had,no inertial required to turn it,what you have said makes sense as the appliance kind of pulses a little, makes some very strange noises indeed, the module sounds like it’s struggling too with relays clicking and whatnot, what baffles me tho is I filled it manually and it drained the water no problem

its a 3 phase pump controlled by the electronic module

as i said if its worn and draws more current machine aborts. they are not too expensive i carry one to swop out when necessary
