Neff S51E50X1GB/03 error codes, no display

Hi folks,

I’ve fitted a heat pump to a Neff which all seemed fine but it’s now beeping and aborting the wash later into the cycle.
Sometimes there’s water in the base and sometimes not. It seems to heat and circulate happily, and it drains fine when tested.
The light sequence it shows is presumably an error code but I have no means of interpreting it.
The three vertical lights, I think they’re wash, rinse and end, are all lit and the program light is lit that was running at the time.
Would any one have some info on that please?

did it do this straight away or some time after fitting pump ?

Hi Dave,

It initially faulted because the drain pump cover had come off but this current issue has happened within a few days of fitting the pump.
Not sure that it was immediate.
Have you ever had a faulty heat pump that might cause this kind of issue?

I was thinking the connection to the thermistors might have a problem. its the small plug on the motor. just trying to think of things that would have changed after the pump was swopped

It does seem a bit coincidental to have this trouble so soon after replacing the heat pump.
Sounds like the thermistor plug is a sensible place to start.
