Hi, my dishwasher has a leak and I am struggling to work out exactly where it’s coming from or what needs replacing, though I have now at least worked out roughly where it is coming from…

There is no visible dripping, so the point of the leak must be obscured, but I can see that when it’s running, a puddle is first visible at the back left near the vessel containing the rather foul looking orangey-brown liquid – as seen below. However the leak itself appears to just be uncoloured water, so I don’t think it’s coming directly from that container.

I don’t suppose this is enough for anyone to have any ideas as to what might be causing the leak, or what to replace/repair?
Or any suggestions of what I can remove to get a better view of the area it might be coming from?

    Thanks

    Pete

ignor the colour, its not foul its normally that colour and its the water sofner unit

take the sides off it and run it and look for a leak

before you do that open the door, remove lower basket and on the left hand side at the bottom there is a plastic nut sticking through the plastic. Just check if its loose, use your fingers and if its loose tighten it but remember its plastic so it just needs to be nipped up

we can also get leaks between the plastic base and the stainless wrapper
